I’m in the military—how can I use Army or Air Force funding to pay for my EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic training?

Answer: At North American Rescue – Training, we proudly support active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve service members looking to advance their EMS careers through Credentialing Assistance (CA) programs.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Complete Our Contact Form: Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll guide you through the process.

  2. Army: Visit ArmyIgnitED.com and start your CA application.

  3. Air Force: Talk to your supervisor about using the Air Force COOL program.

  4. Get a Course Quote: We’ll provide you with an official quote to use in your CA application.

  5. Notify Us: Let us know when your application is submitted.

  6. Register with NAR: While your funding is being processed, complete our school registration so you're ready to begin training as soon as you're approved.

Eligible Courses Include:

  • Initial EMT Course with In-Person Skills Verification

  • Initial AEMT Course with In-Person Skills Verification

  • EMT Refresher (51.5 hours)

  • AEMT Refresher (59 hours)

  • Paramedic Refresher (62 hours)

I’m a military veteran—are there any discounts or funding options available for EMS training?

Answer: While North American Rescue – Training does not currently participate in VA or GI Bill® programs, we do offer a special military & veteran discount for all our continuing education EMS courses.

Here’s how to take advantage of it:

  1. Email Us: Contact registration@nareducation.com and let us know you’re a veteran.

  2. Get Your Discount Code: We’ll send you a discount code that can be applied to eligible courses during registration.

  3. Register and Save: Use the code at checkout to receive your veteran discount.

This discount applies to courses like:

  • EMT Recertification

  • AEMT and Paramedic Refreshers

  • Specialized EMS continuing education
