      North American Rescue Training & Education (NAR-T) is an approved NAEMT training center offering the Hybrid 16-hour Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Course that meets NAEMT PHTLS requirements.

        Flexible Hybrid Course

      The 16-hour Hybrid PHTLS Course combines 8 hours of online training with 8 hours of in-person hands-on training at the NAR-T Advanced Training Facility in Las Vegas, NV.

      Important: The online portion is completed through Jones & Bartlett Learning (JBL) and must be purchased separately. Access information is provided after registration.

        Hands-On PHTLS Training

      The 8-hour in-person session provides hands-on experience in prehospital trauma care through instruction, skills stations and scenario-based trauma simulations. Training includes airway management, hemorrhage control, spinal immobilization, and rapid trauma assessment.

      This NAEMT-approved PHTLS course is designed for EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, and other emergency medical professionals who want to strengthen their prehospital trauma assessment, treatment, and decision-making skills.

      Online Training | 8 Hours

      Completed through Jones & Bartlett Learning. Includes interactive trauma scenarios, XABCDE trauma assessment, and 8 CAPCE-approved credit hours.

      Hands-On Training | 8 Hours

      Practice trauma care through skills stations and scenario-based simulations focused on airway management, hemorrhage control, and rapid trauma assessment.
