Answer:

Initial Hybrid AEMT & EMT Course Refund Policy:

• If NAR Training has substantially failed to furnish the Training Program, student will receive a full refund of both the Tuition and the Educational Equipment Charge as defined in the Student Catalog.

• Books, educational supplies, or educational equipment for individual use are not included in this refund policy. A separate refund must be paid by NAR Training to the student if those items were not used by the student. This specifically includes the Educational Equipment Charge. Once a student uses their code to access the Portal, the $250 is non-refundable. The $250 is refundable at any time if code is unused. Disputes must be resolved by the NAR Training Registration Manager for refunds required by this policy on a case-by-case basis.

• Student may cancel enrollment by sending email Notice of Cancellation to registration@narescue.com. If canceled within 3 days after signing this Agreement, student will receive 100% refund of Tuition paid. If canceled after 3 days but before the Start Date of the Training Program, NAR Training will refund all Tuition paid, minus 10 percent of the Tuition amount or $150, whichever is less.

• If a student withdraws or is expelled after the Start Date but before completion of more than 60 percent of the Program as measured in time from the Start Date (e.g., 60% of 365 days is 219 days), NAR Training will refund the student a pro rata amount of Tuition paid as measured in time from the Start Date, minus 10 percent of Tuition or $150, whichever is less. Student may withdraw via email Notice of Withdrawal to registration@narescue.com.

• If a student withdraws or is expelled after completion of more than 60 percent of the Training Program as measured in time from the Start Date, no refund is authorized, and the student forfeits all Tuition paid.

• If a refund is owed, NAR Training shall pay the refund to the person or entity who paid the Tuition within 15 calendar days after one of the following: (a) date of cancellation by a student; (b) date of termination by NAR Training; (c) last day of an authorized leave of absence if a student fails to return after the period of authorized absence; or (d) last day of attendance of student, whichever is applicable.

• A NV student has the right to file a legitimate complaint with the NV Commission on Postsecondary Education per the process set forth on the NV CPE website and Student Grievance Policy posted at the training center.
