Course Description

The Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Hands-On Skills Session is an 8-hour, in-person course provided by North American Rescue Training & Education (NAR-T).

This session is for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other healthcare providers completing the hands-on portion of the NAEMT PHTLS Provider Course.

Students will practice how to assess, treat, and manage injured patients using realistic trauma scenarios. Training focuses on patient assessment, critical decisions, trauma treatment priorities, and team-based care.

The course follows NAEMT PHTLS guidelines and current trauma care practices to help improve knowledge, skills, and confidence when caring for critically injured patients.
